About Me:
We are stardust,
We are GOLDEN,
We are billion year old carbon,
And we've got to get ourselves
Back to the garden.
There is a lline from Joni Mitchell's Woodstock
alluding to one of the most remarkable discoveries
of the last century - the fact that we are literally made of
stardust, billion year old carbon…borrowed from clearsky's website. Thanks, dude!
LOVE IS THE ONLY THING ONCE DIVIDED…MULTIPLIES

YOUR AQAL ANGEL IN THE DIRT
I grew up AQAL, though we didn't call it that at the time. As a Chiropractor's daughter, it was called a healthy lifestyle. It included meditation, intuitional development, played as games for fun with the kids. The Coptic Fellowship called it mind/body/spirit. Later, I'd refer to it as holistic…as in holistic health.
“I speak two languages: BODY and ENGLISH.” Mae West
Following my first divorce, I went into private practice doing comprehensive soft-tissue bodywork. Terribly successful, I sought further training. Rolfing required a bachelors degree first. Joseph Heller, head of the Rolf Insitute when Ida Rolf died, left to found a more inclusive system of teaching practitioners not only about how to help clients, but to understand that who we were as PEOPLE was as important as any technique, any stroke, any word of knowledge. During my Hellerwork training, one of the major ways of processing verbally, both for us as practitioners and for our clients, we were taught Voice Dialogue ala Hal and Sidra Stone.
Since 1987, when I completed the training, I have worked doing series work, and found that I had a peculiar affinity for working on people in PAIN. Of all kinds, it turns out. They became FOCUS sessions, and it ended up being my forte. Herniated discs just short of surgery, recurrent turned ankles, back and neck and shoulder problems.
And the things I did, techniques I taught to clients and their friends, helped others. One long-time client massaged her sister-in-law's hands and forearms in her last hours of dying from cancer. Nothing else would comfort her, not even morphine.
But Anne touching her, ahh! that worked. When asked how she knew what to do, she replied, “Dian taught me, when she worked on me.” My friends, tis the osmosis factor. Even I didn't understand fully, then.
I do, now. But it almost killed me, three times, from burnout. First with CFIDS, Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome. Some years later, three herniated discs in my neck, which left me awake for 11 days until I made it into a brilliant doctor, P Jakacki, MD DC.
And the last was Graves Disease. One's own body, deciding that my thyroid was now 'foreign tissue' sent antibodies to fry it to 4 times normal. Heart arrythmmia, shaking so severe, I couldn't screw in a lightbulb to save my soul. I just thought I was stressed from rehabbing a house, ourselves.
And so, after 35 years of pouring myself, my chi, my life energy into others, I took a sabbatical to write a book: The Names Allways Changing: AQAL Awakens. For I believe my story, and those like Joe Perez's forthcoming one, indicate souls like ours, SENSITIVES, who will go through the 'eye of the needle' like canaries in the mine cage, before the mass of humanity.
Not much fun being bleeding edge, dudes. You fly without a safety net, until society catches up and understands.
Discovering the author Ken Wilber in 1996 from a book in the library stacks next to something else I was searching for, gave me a framework for understanding deeper and richer and vaster realms AND a way to stitch them together.
Now, the map you have created becomes a FLAG, created by us all, flying beautifully in the breeze. And the sun also rises, my friends, the sun also rises. Let us go forward in love, and with a song in our hearts. For we are richly blessed to be together.
It's in every ONE of us
To be WISE
Find your heart
Open up ALL your EYES.
We can all know EVERYTHING
Without ever knowing WHY
It's in every one of US
To BE wise.
David Pomeranz's song/lyrics
This journey is a marathon, not a sprint. Life is nothing, if not an adventure. Thing is, some of us LIKE the twists and turns of navigating unknown territory more than others. AQAL and consciousness included. Destiny is not by chance; its a choice.
One we make every day. With every moment spent in meditation, every smile at the stressed person you let ahead of you in traffic, all our kind gestures toward the checkout person @
